1. Introduction

LUNE sync your cycle is a women's wellness app that helps you eat better based on your cycle. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information.

By using LUNE, you agree to the practices described here. If you disagree, please do not use the app.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following information:

Your account:

• Email address (to create and manage your account)
• Apple ID (if you sign in with Apple)

Your cycle and wellness:

• Cycle length and period duration
• First day of your last period
• How you feel each day: energy, mood, cravings, comfort
• Your food preferences and restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc.)

Technical data:

• How you use the app (pages visited, features used)
• Device type and iOS version
• Anonymous device identifier

3. Why we use your data

Your data is used only for:

• Personalized recommendations: suggesting meals and tips adapted to where you are in your cycle
• Tracking your wellness: calculating and displaying your daily score
• Improving the app: making recommendations more accurate and the experience smoother
• Managing your account: your subscription and settings

4. How recommendations work

LUNE uses a smart system to suggest meals and tips adapted to you. This system:

• Looks at where you are in your cycle and how you feel
• Matches this info with a database of recipes and nutritional guidance
• Gets better over time based on your feedback and preferences

Your data is never shared with third-party services to power these recommendations. Everything runs on our own secure servers.

5. Storage and security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• Hosting on secure servers
• Restricted access, limited to authorized personnel
• Ongoing monitoring and improvement of our security practices

As with any online service, no method of protection is perfect. We do our best to safeguard your information.

6. Data sharing

We may share data only in these cases:

• To run the app: our technical providers (hosting, servers) have access to certain data and are contractually required to provide the same level of protection as we do.
• For payments: Apple handles subscription transactions through the App Store. LUNE does not have access to your payment information.
• If required by law: in the context of a legal obligation.

We do not share any personal data for advertising or commercial purposes.

7. Your sensitive data

Information related to your cycle and wellness is considered sensitive data. As such:

• It is never used for advertising or profiling
• It is never shared with third parties
• It is only used to personalize your experience in the app

8. Your rights

At any time, you can:

• Access your personal data
• Correct your information if inaccurate
• Delete your account and all data (Profile → Settings → Delete my account)
• Withdraw your consent to the use of your data

9. Account deletion

You can delete your account and all your data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete my account
• By email: send a request to support@lune-app.com

All your data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

10. Data retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, everything is erased within 30 days. Anonymized data may be kept for statistical purposes.

11. Subscription management

Your LUNE subscription is managed through Apple's App Store:

• iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LUNE
• Or directly at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

Canceling your subscription does not delete your account or data. To delete your data, follow the procedure in section 9.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant change will be communicated via a notification in the app. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
