1. Introduction
Lune ("sync your cycle") is a women's wellness app that helps you eat with your cycle. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information.
By using Lune, you accept the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Data we collect
Your account :
- Email address (to create and manage your account)
- Apple ID (if you sign in with Apple Sign-In)
Your cycle and wellbeing :
- Cycle length and period duration
- First day of your period
- How you feel daily : energy, mood, cravings, comfort
- Dietary preferences and restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc.)
Technical data :
- How you use the app (pages visited, features used)
- Device type and iOS version
- Anonymous device identifier
Important : Lune doesn't access your location, contacts, photos or any other phone data. Lune doesn't connect to Apple HealthKit or any other app.
3. Why we use your data
- To give you personalized recommendations : meals and tips matched to where you are in your cycle
- To track your wellbeing : calculate and display your daily score
- To improve the app : make recommendations more accurate
- To manage your account : your subscription and settings
4. How recommendations work
Lune uses an intelligent system that :
- Looks at where you are in your cycle and how you feel
- Cross-references this with a database of recipes and nutrition tips
- Improves over time based on your feedback and tastes
Your data is never shared with third-party services to power these recommendations. Everything runs on our own secure servers.
5. Storage and security
- Hosted on secure servers
- Restricted access, limited to authorized personnel
- Continuous monitoring and improvement of security practices
6. Data sharing
We never sell your data.
We may share data only in these cases :
- To run the app : our technical providers (hosting, servers) access some data and are contractually bound to the same protection level.
- For payments : Apple handles subscription transactions via the App Store. Lune doesn't have access to your banking info.
- If required by law : in the context of a legal obligation.
7. Your sensitive data
Information related to your cycle and wellbeing is considered sensitive data. As such :
- It's never used for advertising or profiling
- It's never transmitted to third parties
- It's only used to personalize your experience in the app
8. Your rights
You can at any time :
- Access your personal data
- Correct your information if inaccurate
- Delete your account and all your data
- Withdraw your consent to data use

9. Account deletion
- In the app : Profile → Settings → Delete my account
- By email : write to support@lune-app.com
All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
10. Data retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, everything is erased within 30 days. Anonymized data may be retained for statistical purposes.
11. Subscription management
Your Lune subscription is managed through Apple's App Store :
- iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lune
- Or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If a significant change is made, you'll be notified via the app.
