Our story

We're Hanane & Omar.

We met as colleagues and became close friends. Both into healthy living, both training for races — a half-marathon for Hanane, a marathon for Omar.

But Hanane noticed something. Even with a clean lifestyle, some weeks were full of energy crashes, cravings, painful cramps. Others felt great. The patterns turned out to be synced to her cycle. Eating "clean" wasn't enough.

She started asking ChatGPT every morning what to eat based on her phase. It worked, but it was clunky.

One day, we were comparing how we adapt our nutrition to race training. Hanane mentioned she was doing the same with her cycle. Omar — a true tech geek who believes technology should solve the everyday problems no one is solving — looked up and said : "That's a brilliant app idea."

A playful interface. A wellbeing score that moves with your cycle. An AI that remembers what you love, what you hate.

That's how Lune was born.
